Internal Obsession:

Those who are in tune with themselves are worried only about themselves and understand their insignificance in the Grand Scheme. Those who are in touch with their Inner Divinity understand their connection with the Universe, seeing while we are just little people, we are so much more. It doesn’t make sense to channel any energy towards the most insignificant aspects of life — the external of other beings. To understand true individuality is to release any desire for acceptance — the only acceptance needed is from one’s Self.

The Self accepts the beauty of having differences, and gracefully accepts said differences, even if it means accepting that one doesn’t have another individual’s “approval.” The Self releases all judgement, and accepts people based on the sole (soul) fat that they are listening to their Higher Self, accepting the individual differences and the inherent beauty of the process.

Those who are not in touch with their Inner Divinity are not concerned with the judgement of others because it is assumed that, “because I am not worried about your external, you are not worried about mine.”

External Obsession:

A sad life. Hopefully only a brief period. Those who are externally obsessed forget they have a soul, and are focused merely on their vehicles (physical beings) and those of others. These individuals, or Masses, live in accordance with what is Socially Acceptable or Approved by the Others. Focused on Appearance instead of Essence, they live out of sync with their Higher Selves; sadly, never achieving true tranquility and Oneness. It is very difficult for these people to be left alone with their own energy because they run low on it since they are constantly Spending it, per se, on trivial external wealth, such as social acceptance and the approval of others. Very little of their vibrations is saved for their Selves, causing them to panic when left alone. These people travel in groups and cannot fathom the idea of the group separating. When one leaves the group to follow their calling or for any other internal reason, externally-focused people Judge, frown, and shun these, completely unaware of the way they are blocking out their own Enlightenment.

Enlightenment is a process, lesson, and destination to be achieved by the individual. It is not something that can be taught from one being to another — it is a Personal achievement, therefore, one must be able to take some time alone to achieve it. However, if someone is spending all their energy on pleasing the Masses, there won’t be any energy left to bask in soulo, thus, never giving them the chance to reach it.
